Life is the Curriculum

Class cannot be limited to the four walls of the classroom. It has to be beyond it. Which is why everything under the sun is the curriculum at Ananda. We strive to bring the outside world inside the classroom as much as possible, by creating an atmosphere of learning by doing; by facilitating learning that is relevant and connected to real life.

The School
Colourful, joyous and exploratory is the ambience at the Ananda school. We have taken great care to design a functional and synergetic environment.

Learning methodology
The Ananda curriculum abounds in lessons that explore all kinds of intelligence. We learn through rhymes, games and puzzles, gardening and cooking, role-play and theatre, discussions and indeed . through heated arguments. We know that the next great batsman and the next prodigal painter are already in our school. We help discover and develop their talent.

Enablers
Students learn best by exploring the world . by playing. Therefore we do not teach. We only facilitate. We try to creative active experiences inorder to 'show', not just tell.

Coming from a background that has promoted ground-breaking use of technology in education, Ananda understands what technology can help us achieve in the school. We also know where to stop. Mind you, we are not averse to using it, we just believe in using it judiciously.
