The Ananda School and it's sister concern Indus World School are promoted by Nalanda Foundation (NF) - an educational society created with the sole aim of providing quality education comparable to the best in the world. A brief profile of some of the key people at Nalanda Foundation (NF), the group behind Ananda School:

Satya Narayanan R, the chairman and chief mentor at NF, is a renowned speaker in Indian academic circles. He has trained thousands of students, teachers and corporate executives and is, according to many sections of the media, the moving force behind several pioneering initiatives in the Asian education market.

Col. Krish Mowar is executive director of NF. During his tenure as the Principal Director of the Army Welfare Education Society, he managed 116 schools and 8 professional colleges with more than 150,000 students. He tripled admissions there and added seven new colleges to that list, thus proving that academic excellence is just a matter of dedication.

R Shiva Kumar is an alumnus of IIT and IIM and has more than a decade of experience teaching mathematics and science for engineering and medical entrance examinations. His ultimate goal in Ananda is to make science easy and understandable at a primary school level.

R Sreenivasan holds an M Tech and an MBA from IIM. His mission involves facilitating the children to use their right brain. Brings in confluence of theatre and art into all levels of school curricula. more

Gautam Puri, an engineer and an MBA from IIM, runs a multi-crore-education company (one of Asia’s largest). His goal in Indus World School is to completely redefine the way mathematics is taught at school.

Sujit Bhattacharyya, also an IIT-IIM alumnus, brings a passion for the right use of technology combined with a love for education into Indus World School. His hands-on experience in various Silicon Valley start-ups backs him in his endeavours.

Prof. Aaditya Lohana, a Commerce graduate from Mithibai College, Mumbai has over 15 years of teaching experience. He is immensely popular with students because of the interest he takes in their academic performance and personality development. He initiated Lohana Test Series in 1992 to train SSC aspirants has been an integral part of Career Launcher since 2004.
